Beyond the festival: productions on these stages The following productions by the Lausitz Festival and its partners can be experienced both within and outside the Lausitz region beyond our festival:
Arvo Pärt concert: »The Sound of Silence« in media library of arte.tv It was a magical moment on 11 September 2025 in the parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Görlitz – with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber and Concerto Copenhagen conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste and music by Arvo Pärt on the composer's 90th birthday.

New »Krabat« opera: Co-production Lausitz Festival & Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theatre Görlitz-Zittau Together with the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau (GHT), the Lausitz Festival has commissioned composer Marius Felix Lange to write a family opera about the Sorbian legendary figure Krabat. The premiere will take place on 13 September.
