Jonathas de Andrade: The Fierce Shine of the Edges – exhibitions still on display this autumn

With two exhibitions, the 2026 Lausitz Festival is dedicating a comprehensive showcase to the Brazilian artist Jonathas de Andrade in Bad Muskau and Cottbus, running until well into the autumn.

Exhibition in Bad Muskau:

Location: New Castle, Bad Muskau – Special exhibition rooms

Duration: until 31.10.2026

Opening hours: daily, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Entrance: 4 Euro (2 Euro concessions) – via the New Palace in Bad Muskau under the heading »Tower climb with exhibitions + special exhibitions«

Exhibition in Cottbus:

Location: Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst (Dieselkraftwerk), Cottbus/Chóśebuz

Duration: until 15.11.2026

Opening hours: Tue–Sun, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Entrance: 6 Euro – combined ticket valid for the whole venue

»Jonathas de Andrade: The Fierce Shine of the Edges« is an exhibition of the Lausitz Festival and the Brandenburg State Museum of Modern Art (BLMK) in cooperation with the »Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau« Foundation.

The exhibition in Bad Muskau has been curated by Kobi Ben-Meir, the show in Cottbus by Ulrike Kremeier.
