ABOUT US

The Lausitz Festival is a multidisciplinary festival that takes place annually in late summer in Lusatia. It is funded by the State Ministry of Culture and Media and is under the patronage of the Minister Presidents of the State of Brandenburg and the Free State of Saxony.

The festival presents internationally outstanding art in the fields of music, theater, concerts, visual arts, film, literature, jazz, dance and philosophical discussions and, in harmony with the region, aims to enable a change of perspective and draw new horizons through performative art.

  • Administration & Legal (m/f/d)

    What you would do:

    • Support in implementation of operational festival processes, especially in administrative processes
    • Assistance and coordination in organisational and legal issues of management
    • Collaboration in preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial plans
    • Support in administration of IT structure, especially in maintenance of digital tools
    • Organisation of internal meetings, including taking minutes, documentation and presentation preparation
    • Assistance with monitoring budgets, deadlines and compliance requirements
    • Processing and maintaining contracts, approvals and legally relevant documents
    • Preparing internal and external evaluations and reports
    • Assisting with HR management, in particular with creating contracts, onboarding processes and personnel documents
    • Maintaining and updating job profiles, organisational charts and working time overviews
    • Supporting the coordination of team meetings, internal communication and training measures

     

    What you should bring with you:

    • Completed studies in cultural management, business administration, project management or comparable
    • Professional experience in HR, operational cultural or event management
    • Strategic thinking, high digital competence and strong organisational skills
    • Confident and confident appearance, strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
    • Very good knowledge of digital working environments (esp. Microsoft 365, project management software)
    • Business fluent in German and English
    • Class B driving licence and willingness to travel
