The travelling exhibition »Eye-Catchers – Space for Art« will be stopping off in Prague from 21 May 2026, inviting visitors to rediscover the atmosphere of the Lusatia region and the Lusatia Festival through the photographs of seven artists.

Since the festival’s first edition, artists have been documenting performances, encounters and special moments – creating a visual record of the festival that brings to life the cultural diversity and transformation of Lusatia.

At Divadlo Na zábradlí, the photographs enter into a fascinating dialogue with the architecture and the audience. Particular attention is paid to the festival production »Empusion«, which was staged at the Prague German-Language Theatre Festival in 2024.

At the opening on 20 May, artistic directors Petr Štědroň and Daniel Kühnel will discuss festivals as places of encounter in a European context and pose the question: What space does art need?

Admission to the exhibition is free.
