»Supernova«

Morning on a lonely road somewhere. A mother is walking with her young children, having left her drunken husband. Suddenly she is run over by a car driven by a high-ranking politician. The police arrive, the road is blocked, a traffic jam forms, and chaos ensues. Everyone believes someone else is at fault. Opinions, prejudices, and beliefs collide, with compassion in short supply. The film is an atmospheric mix of drama, thriller, and disaster movie. The evening will open with Russian director Baibulat Batullin’s short film »Pokazalos« [Seemed]. (in Russian with German subtitles)
