About the production
This young percussion ensemble has won numerous international prizes and has appeared in many of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls, for example the Kammermusiksaal of the Berlin Philharmonie. The group is known for their skilful and nuanced arrangements of large orchestral works. In their program for the Lausitz Festival, these three musicians from Switzerland and Austria will focus on music by French masters of the Fin de Siècle, particularly Maurice Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin. The immense variety of sound colours offered by percussion instruments will open new worlds of sound for listeners.
