Lausitz Labor - a place of debate, art and future
The forum has been an integral part of the Lausitz Festival since 2021. Over several festival days at the Altes Stadthaus in Cottbus, we will explore these questions: How can experiments and experiences in arts be relevant to structural change? How do arts and philosophy shape our understanding of life and democracy? How can we react collectively to times of crisis?
Our guests on stage come from a wide variety of fields: Philosophy, sociology, politics, law, art, cultural and theater studies, literature. Philosophers Christiane Voss and Christoph Menke together with Lars Dreiucker and Fulvia Modica curate the discussion series.
The Lausitz Labor invites you to think all together about the challenges of the present and reflect on the possibilities of the future. The intellectual, artistic foundation for the exchange is formed by the annual inspirational word together with the festival program.
